This week’s fashion idol is Joanna, who has a remarkable sense of personal style – thus has made it on my favorite list of blogger muses. Joanna hails all the way from Poland, however she draws her own style inspiration from her many travels around our beautiful, vibrant and culturally rich world. Her style is anything but minimalistic, a bit over the top, yet always full of unexpected details and hues. Her fabulous style has landed her on pages of Cosmo, Dilemmas magazine and Viva Hot. Joanna  provides her loyal blog devotees with plenty of eye-candy, and I  just can’t wait to share some of my absolute favorites with you, dear readers. The Interview

La Mimi: Name, age, location

My name is Joanna Glogaza, I’m 20 and I’m from Cracow, Poland

La Mimi: Why and when did you start blogging?

Joanna: I’ve started blogging about two years ago, inspired by all the amazing fashion blogs which I’d followed at the time. I think that time my biggest inspirations was Agathe from Style Bytes- an amazing girl from Sweden. Unfortunately she’s not updating her blog anymore.

La Mimi: You travel quite a bit- lucky you! How do you think traveling influence your personal style?

Joanna: I love travelling! And the city which inspires me the most is London. I love its streetfashion, shops and simply the atmosphere of the city.

Every time I go there, I visit lots of vintage shops and flea markets and I fall in love with vintage clothes and all over again. Also, my travel to Thailand was very influencial,  as I adore their ethnic prints.   It was my first time in Asia, so you can imagine how big of an impression the journey has made on me.

La Mimi: What’s the best style advice you’ve gotten?

Joanna: Don’t be afraid to wear clothes that make you happy. If you feel good, then you look good (in most cases- this rule doesn’t include old baggy sweatpants or slouchy pyjamas.)

La Mimi: What’s the most favourite item in your wardrobe?

Joanna: Definitely my leather pants from Zara.

La Mimi: What are some spring trends you can’t wait to try?

Joanna: It’s getting warmer and warmer and I just can’t wait to try the “underwear as outwear” trend. I also love the sheer trend!

La Mimi: What’s one must have beauty item?

Joanna: I can’t live without a lip balsam- I usually use Carmex. I think it’s becoming a strong addiction!

La Mimi: What’s the biggest lesson life has taught you?

Joanna: Well, I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to do everything by itself. I was always afraid of asking people for help- I thought they would find me weak. Now I’m not such a freak anymore and my life is much easier.
