This week’s fashion idol is Rebecca- a beautiful girl with a superior style and the sweetest personality. Rebecca has one of a kind sense of style that is truly unique and remarkable! Every one of her outfits looks different and has a story of its own… Her biggest passion and obsession is vintage clothing and accessories that Rebecca can’t stop shopping for. It’s no wonder that females are flocking to their laptops for fashionable inspiration from this style savvy gal … Style with Benefits is the name of her blog- How could you possibly resist clicking trough a blog with such an interesting name?

2. In regards to the name of your blog- “style with benefits”, what kind of benefits would you say style oriented people get?
Having your own style gives you the benefits of self-expression and individuality. When you know you look good on the outside, you feel good about yourself on the inside! Style allows you to connect with others, share your outlook on life and just lets you be you.

3. You blog is an inspirational place for many (including myself). Where do YOU get your daily dose of inspirations?
My inspirations come from everyday life, what’s going on in the world, music, my twin sister and my emotions. If I’m feeling down, it will reflect in the way I dress that day and vice versa if I’m in a good mood. I’m also inspired by all of the fabulous fashion bloggers out there because of their fierce creativity.

4. How would you describe your style in a sentence?
My style is versatile with an affinity toward the 80’s, rocker, boho-chic look.

5. I adore your ring collection. How many exactly do you have and where do you find your treasures?
I have A LOT of rings, some of which I don’t wear anymore because I just grew out of them over the years. But I’d say I have around 20 rings in my daily rotation. I love to shop at flea markets for jewelry and home shopping networks QVC and HSN! I actually get most of my compliments on rings I’ve purchased from QVC and HSN and people just laugh at me when I tell them that’s where they’re from. But seriously, they have amazing jewelry!

6. Are you still lusting after men’s shoes? What makes you like them so much?
Yes, I’m open to buying men’s shoes because I like to throw in some ruggedness to balance out a “girly” outfit. My post about men’s shoes was inspired by a pair of crazy pyramid studded boots that I couldn’t believe were actually designed for men. I loved them and thought if these shoes are that fabulous, am I missing out on other great men’s shoes? To my surprise, I found men’s shoes with sequins that I also liked! When shopping, I don’t like to limit myself to just the women’s section.

7. What trends are you loving at the moment?
I’m loving multi-buckle peep toe booties, 90’s style floral dresses with combat boots, fingerless gloves and tuxedo blazers.

8. Most of your wardrobe consists of vintage treasures. When did you get hooked on shopping for unique finds?
It’s more fun to stand out in a crowd than to blend in with everyone else. This is my mentality when shopping and deciding whether to purchase something. I’ve always been a person who loves to dig through bins of clothes and get excited when I find that one unique piece. It’s that thrill of finding something very special and rare that I love.

9.To this day, what do you honor as your best purchase?
I love my Jeffrey Campbell Biz Belted Booties because they give an instant edge to anything I’m wearing, and plus, I’m a fan of multi-buckles.

10. Please share some words of wisdom with La Mimi readers…
One of my favorite quotes is: “Passion will make you crazy, but is there any other way to live?” Also, when deciding what to wear, I’d use to save a great pair of shoes or a nice dress for certain occasions, but have stopped doing that. Life is too short and you should never save anything for a special occasion because every day you’re alive is a special occasion.

haha youuuuuuuuuu are surprising me each time you make a comment! bringing up the secret!!! i am a strong believer in the secret. i am seeing someone, who has previously written me love letters BUT i’m at a point where i’m not sure if he’s the one, so i am putting it out there into the universe that i DO want someone who ‘frequently’ writes a letter, the letter being a metaphor for the little sweet thoughtful things someone can do.
