This week’s fashion idol is lovely Maria hailing all the way from Oslo, Norway. Maria has taken simple wardrobe basics from plain to bold, and it’s no wonder that females are flocking to their laptops for fashionable inspiration. La Mimi: How has your life changed since you started blogging?

Maria: I guess I’ve had some opportunities that I wouldn’t have if I didn’t have a blog. Like interviews in magazines, modeling in a photoshoots, Event invitations and other such wonderful perks. It’s a great bonus for blogging, and I’m so thankful for all of it! It’s a great way to connect with other people like yourself.

La Mimi: Where do you get your daily inspirations?
Maria: I’m inspired by anything really… I get a lot of ideas from streetstyle, celebrities and other fashion bloggers .

La Mimi: Vintage vs New? What do you like more and why?
Maria: It doesn’t matter if it’s vintage or new. It doesn’t really make a difference for me. I’m drawn to the item, the shape, the colour or whatever – not its condition.

La Mimi: What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe?
Maria: I don’t have ONE item in particular. I have to say I love my ACNE box shoes though.

La Mimi: What’s in your make up bag?
Maria: Aaahh.. I hardly use any make-up. I should but I’m too lazy. I usually just put on some powder, mascara and maybe a little blush.

La Mimi: What trends are you loving at the moment?
Maria: I’m kind of sick of most of the trends right now… Except maybe for theplatform shoes! Yes, I’m currently drooling over the acne atacoma shoes – hopefully they’ll be mine very soon.

La Mimi: Who is your favorite fashion designer and why?
Maria: Alexander Wang – because it’s laidback, cool, simple but at the same time so effortlessly sexy. His pieces are so versatile. And I’d also like to mention ACNE – love the clean scandinavian look and they’re always on trend.

La Mimi: Flats or heels? What do you feel most comfortable wearing?
Maria: Heels instantly makes you feel.. sexier. you know? hah.

Maria: Don’t take fashion too seriously. As long as you feel good – you’re good!
