Fashion Idol of the Week- Danielle

This week’s fashion idol is super cute and feminine Dainelle, whose blog I’ve been following religiously for the last couple of months. Her awesome personality, fun and upbeat posts as well as the personal flare she adds to any outfit are only some of the reasons that compel me to visit her blog continuously.  Danielle manages to make daily outfit posts events on their own, with amazing thrift purchases that melt her reader’s hearts.  The fact that she’s so laid back is even more assurance that it’s not hard to look good.  It just takes a little effort and some sense of style. Take a look at what she had to say and then head over to her lovely blog – Fell4Fashion:

1.       Name, Age, Location
Danielle Belcher, 26, Atlanta GA

2.       So, when and how did you “Fall for Fashion”?

I was actually late in my love for fashion.  It wasn’t until after college, when I really became comfortable with who I am, that I was able to really embrace fashion.  I’ve fallen so hard that I’ve been known to spend my food money on a pair of shoes!

3.       What got you into the blogosphere?

It was a combination of loving other blogs, wanting to chronicle what I was wearing, and seeing a void in blogs showcasing women in the conservative work force.  I am an office manager at a school, so I am surrounded by parents and older women, and I don’t have much around me every day that inspires me.  Blogging allows me to connect with others who like fashion as much as I do and it allows me to share my style while gaining insight and inspiration from others.  Blogging has also made me more comfortable in my own style and has given me the courage to wear what I want, no matter what people around me may say.
4.       Your blog not only reflects your fascinating style choices, but you also talk about some aspects of your personal life.  When do you draw the line on what to talk about?
If I’m comfortable talking about it and it feels right, I do.  I love to hear little personal things about other bloggers, so I also like to share some myself.

5.       What would you say is the main inspiration for your daily outfits?

My main inspiration is other bloggers!

6.       On average, how long does it take you to put an outfit together?

Sometimes it takes me 2 minutes, and other times I contemplate for days!  On average I pick out my outfits the night before to save time, so I would say 10-20 minutes.

7.       Spill some secrets, what are your favorite beauty products?

I’m not a big “beauty girl”.  I don’t think I’m so good at makeup and my hair takes no time at all to style :)   But I couldn’t live without Covergirl’s lashblast mascara in the orange tube.  I was once told on a day I didn’t wear mascara that they couldn’t tell I had eyelashes!

8.       Name 3 trends you are craving to try this spring?

I really want to try the jumper/romper (not sure yet how it will look on me!) and I’ve always been scared of the gladiator sandal, but I just bought my first pair a few days ago!  And lastly, the cropped relaxed pant.

9.       What is your favorite fashion era and why?

I like the 50′s for the cinched waist.  And the early 60′s for its elegance, jackets, and shift dresses.

10.   Share some words of wisdom with LaMimi readers please.

This is cliché and everyone says it, but it’s so true!!  Know yourself and what looks good on your body type…..and have confidence in what YOU like.  Dress for yourself.  It’s ok to not follow the crowd.

And thanks for your comment dear, although I was so heartbroken to hear about your kitty. :( My family has a kitty, and I love her to pieces, and it always scares me to think that one day she’ll die. But I really hope things getting brighter for you soon, dear! <3
