This week’s fashion idol is Cindy hailing all the way from Hong Kong. I’m always fascinated by fashion forward women of Hong Kong and Cindy is definitely a perfect example. She exuberates confidence, savviness and enthusiasm in everything she does from painting to modeling to everyday dressing. Her style oozes with raw sexy elegance and that’s definitely something I appreciate and admire in other people.

What I’ve learned so far in my life is that sexiness doesn’t come from your physical beauty or the clothes you wear. It comes from a place within- acceptance and satisfaction with yourself which creates confidence. La Mimi: What’s Fashion for you?

Cindy: Fashion for me is…a puzzle, where every piece counts and one I love solving.

La Mimi: What’s the main purpose/goal behind your blog?

Cindy: I know it sounds cheesy but honestly at the moment I don’t know what I can expect from it or what I want from it but just to inspire others to be fun and adventurous with fashion.

Fashion is part of our lives whether we like it or not so why not make it fun and interesting, why not make it a part of you.

La Mimi: What influences your everyday style choices?

Cindy: When I go shopping I buy pieces that I find interesting, pieces that I’d  like to work with, so everyday I pick out one thing from my wardrobe  that I’d like to  wear and work around it.

La Mimi: Who is your favourite fashion designer and why?

Cindy: At this very moment, it absolutely has to be Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, if you have seen his Couture 09 collection there’s not much explaining to do.

La Mimi: What’s your next must buy purchase?

Cindy: Well, my next Must buy is a fence for my puppy-Ichi!! And I am still looking for a nice leopard print bikini!

La Mimi: Is modeling just a hobby or are you trying to pursue it as a career?

Cindy: Modeling is just a hobby.  I do it when it’s an interesting concept that I would like to try.

La Mimi:  Favourite stylish movie?

Cindy: The September issue- a documentary on Anna Wintour who is my idol. Not out until august 28th but I saw the trailer and I can’t wait to see it. What is more stylish then Everything Vogue.

La Mimi: You have an amazing shoe collection! How many to be exact?

Cindy: I have no idea! Haha But there are only around 10 pairs that I really, really love and wear religiously.
