This week’s fashion idol is beautiful Anna who is amazing at pushing all of the possible fashion boundaries. Anna is someone who would wear a skirt as a top, a dress as a skirt and a scarf as a belt. Why not? It’s way more fun to be an unconventional dresser. This very talented 22 year old model/blogger managed to lure me in with her stylish senses. She transcends fashions within the modern and retro eras with grace and beauty. Take a look at what she had to say and then skip on over to her lovely blog.

La Mimi: Name, Age, Location

Annabu,22, at the moment I live in Los Angeles

La Mimi: How did you first become interested in fashion?

AnnaBu: My first love for fashion was born when my mum showed me how to sew my own clothes.

La Mimi: When and how did you start your modeling career?

AnnaBu: I started modeling about 4 years ago when someone on the street asked m if I would like to be a model. At first I wasn’t sure, because it’s hard to trust strangers, however once I met the bookers at the agency and had a few photoshoots I realized that modeling can be a lot of fun. My favourite part about this job is being able to travel to different countries and meet new people. It really widens my horizons…

La Mimi: What’s a typical day like for you now?

AnnaBu: My average day is usually a mixture of castings, shoots and preparing for exams in university. I want to go to a fashion school next year, so I have to draw, paint and practise a lot.

La Mimi: What’s your advice to aspiring models?

AnnaBu: Be prepared that it’s stressful, especially when it’s your first day in a new city. And remember to only do what you want to do, never let people push you into something.

La Mimi: What would you be if you weren’t a model?

AnnaBu: If I wasn’t a model I would probably be an art or fashion design student (which is what I will probably be next year)

La Mimi: Vintage vs. New? What do you like more and why?

Anna Bu: Definitely vintage! So much better than h&m or zara stuff that everyone has (that doesn’t mean that i don’t have tons of H&M clothes

La Mimi: If you had to give away all your shoes what pair would you keep?

AnnaBu: i’m a sneakerfreaker, i collect them, especially Nikes, so i would keep some of them. but it would take me forever to decide on one pair.
