Michael Kors label was formed in 1981 and has been increasing its success with every single year and every new collection.  It has never strayed from Michael’s initial vision which was chic and luxurious clothing. I have really been into MK for a few years now and I can give you several reasons for this.

Number one: there are barely any replicas of MK and it’s not overdone like other brands.

Number two: In comparison to other designers Kors prices his items high, but still affordable. The mark ups are not as crazy as many other designers and I respect him for that. Let’s face it, if he really wanted to he’d raise the prices on his stuff and the chances are people would still buy it.

Number three: I think he’s an extremely talented man that deserves everything he’s got in his life.

Quick Overview of the Spring/Summer  2009 Fashion Trends:

Polka dots- not just regular , but new and funky colored in all kinds of sizes from tiny to extra large.

Check- checked pattern is staying with us for spring and summer for both men and women. It’s going to appear on all kind of clothing ( short, dresses, shirts) and  even accessories.

High platform heels- sorry ladies, but it seems that the heels are getting higher every year

Stripes- thicker stripes on tops for men and women.

50′s style full skirts

Belts – that cinch at the waist and create a slimmer silhoutte

Stretched Jersey Dresses
