Trend Alert: Overalls
No, I’m not kidding, I promise! Overalls have definitely eased their way back into high fashion and it’s not too surprising, since grunge is back in full force.
Last time I wore overalls was in the 6th grade and quite frankly I was obsessed about them. I wore them to shreds. Literally… When they got too short on me, I made them into a short version of overalls and kept wearing them, until my mom secretly threw’em out.* Sigh* I think the reason behind my attachment to the overalls was due to the fact that it was a gift from one of my grandpa’s travels . I loved my grandpa very much, so anything he gave me was extra special.
Will I wear them now? Not sure, but something tells me my adventurous side might want to try this trend in a whole new “ adult” way- rolled up with heels? Hmm…I think it might work.
What do you think? Bring back the Overalls to mainstream fashion- Yay or Nay?
Ok Mimi I have to admit for years I was in love with overalls! But, they were super baggy and not very cute. I still love them and feel you can make them ultra cute if done right!!

I think it’s all about with what you pair them.. overalls can also look very glamorous!
Hi there-I adore the Nicole Farhi ones, denim ones need to be glammed up I think, otherwise you could be mistaken for a construction worker, LOL!!
Hmmm… overalls are not for me… I never wore them b4 as a kid (thank god) and I am not gonna start now … Mayb it works for some ppl otherwise there are better clothes out there that one can wear!!!
Overalls have changed so much over the years, some make you look squared but others are chic and most of all comfortable. Love the Ralph Lauren’s. I don’t think I’d wear them in other fabric than denim though, but that’s just me.
My verdict is yay for the overalls trend.

Ahh… That brought back lots of good childhood memories! I’m loving the one by Jean Paul Gaultier… I’d wear that kind for sure… =) I think if it’s styled properly, with heels and accessories it might actually look quite cute! =)
