The Red Coat
I get very opinionated when it comes to certain clothes. A fabulous red coat for example. Now, I am a firm believer that every woman should own at least ONE red coat. Why, you ask? Well…let’s just say it’s going to be one of your best investments. A great coat goes a long way, you can wear it to work, parties or on top of the little black dress to the opera or theater. Yet another reason to dress up, go out and enjoy life.
The minute you put on a red coat it creates a magic aura around you. It’s perfect for those special days when you want to feel extra sexy and confident. Many studies show that red is one of the most powerful, confident colors to wear. Red is definitely an eye catching color so don’t be surprised if you stop traffic. He-he
You don’t even have to think hard of what to pair it with as red is a versatile neutral and goes perfectly with basic colors like black, white, camel, navy to create a classic look. For the brave ones, I’d suggest to take unconventional approach and mix red with hues like purple, pink, yellow, etc.
Whatever way you wear it you are sure to feel like a lady
Here are some of my favorite picks:

This one is from ASOS for $ 120

Sonia Rykiel, $ 532

Forever 21, $ 39.80
I was out with my boyfriend for some lunch and we stopped at a park to take some pictures for this post. We had to do it in two minutes because it was awfully cold, really hard to pose I must say. It’s definitely a real Canadian winter here.
In this photo I’m wearing:

Fur scarf- vintage
Ankle booties- Franco Satro
H&M lace tights
Swarovski earrings
I’m curious to find out if my readers share my opinion about a red coat, so please be sweet and leave a comment

Hi Mimi. I’m total agree with you. A red coat never be missing in our wardrobe, special if we can get one made in alpaca, cashmere or another luxury fabric. Wearing it we will feel sexy, confident and charm

You really look like a lady, you do. I have a red coat too, but it’s more 60s style. And you’re right that it attracts attention – well YOU’RE sure to stop traffic anytime! And I also already heard a girl say in the street ‘That’s a great coat’ to her boyfriend when I passed in my coat

Yes a coat is very wonderdul piece and every woman should own one, but there’s a few peopw whose color ain’t red, especially if you have a pinkish undertone AKA pimple, hehe, but yeas most people can pull off a red coat especially tanne-dark women.
I’ve been away for a while but i’m fanally back.
