The Long Strap Bag – La Mimi’s Latest Obsession

I used to be really obsessed with bags before. I’d buy a new one every time I’d go shopping and change them according to my outfits, almost daily, transferring the content from one bag to another which I’m sure you know is not fun at all! Especially when you are rushing somewhere in the mornings.

However, lately my shopping habits have changed tremendously. I’ve become way more selective with my choices- picking out only what I really LOVE, usually something that is exquisite, yet simple enough to be worn daily. I’ve started buying bags in neutral colors such as black, brown, gray, purple that go with everything, so I don’t have to go through the unnecessary stress in the mornings. Because I’m always on the go- from meeting clients, to attending networking events to cocktails parties, my main priority is a bag that can take me from day to night.

Lately all I wear is the long strap bags that I have, especially the Zara one in the pictures below, which was a present from a very special friend Irina. I find long strap bags super comfortable to carry. You just sling it over your shoulder and go. It’s also perfect for the times when you have to carry other things in your hands, such as folders, laptop briefcase, etc. And the best part is that if the bag is not too big then the strap can be hidden inside your bag and transform into a clutch within seconds. Isn’t that amazing?

I was so tempted to buy this bag from Zara! I loved it from day one, but ended up buying the last bag from Mango which I also loved.. If my sis wasn’t with me I’d have bought both! I go wild when I see bags or shoes I love!
