La Mimi – Polka Dots and Stripes

The latest photo shoot that I styled was a blast!

I had the pleasure of working with Sam Grant, a great photographer and two models, who also happen to be my best friends, Aysel and Leyla ( my sister) . I have been meaning to do a shoot with them for some time. The opportunity arose, so I obviously jumped at it.  We had such an amazing time at the shoot and I was able to style almost 5 looks in only 4 hours, which includes the time for hair and makeup.  In styling terms this is almost an impossible task. Talk about the benefits of working with your friends.
Here are some pictures from the shoot. The theme of the photo shoot was “Spring Romance”.

    Hi LaMimi,

I adore this combination. I apply it for a long time. The “today’s trends” this absolute can be theorized and really charming.

    Have a great weekend: Janet

    Hey sweetie Mimi,
You’re right, that shoot you styled was indeed a blast! A fashion stylist really seems to be the perfect job for you! One of the models is your sister? It’s the one that is seen in the little square picture, isn’t it? I thought first: “Wait, is that Mimi?” You can tell you two are sisters! Is she older or younger than you?
The outfit with the polka dots and stripes is cool, it somehow has a kind of retro feeling and is sexy and clean at the same time. I really like that look with the fur jacket too. The colour of the skirt goes really well with it. Overall, I think the style of the clothes you combined fits the models really well and creates a special atmosphere! Will the photos appear anywhere?
It must be fun, being given a theme and then being free to choose clothes for it! It’s interesting to see how you interpreted “Spring Romance”! I like it.
    Kisses and Hugs,
    Cate
