Recently, I have become more familiar with the world of investing. Spending time with my boyfriend equates to time watching CNBC and talking about the economy. Well, I have got an investment idea for you! At the moment, gold is not only an excellent investment but it is also the ultimate “IT” accessory. In fact, anything gold goes: vest, dress, trench coat, cuff, shoes and etc. Perhaps wearing a little shine will brighten your outlook and maybe even give you a fabulous return on your investment.

Oh yes, definitely! I went through a stage where I disliked anything gold, and only chose silver or white gold. But now I’m coming around again…and I’m really starting to love gold in clothing, make up, accessories and jewelry. So it’s great to know that it’s the up and coming trend for Spring/Summer! =) Can only imagine now HAWT it will look against a tanned, sun kissed skin – Can’t wait!

About the golden pieces, I really like them.
I just think that I’ve a little afraid of large pieces in gold not just on accessories, on daily wear. I guess I still have that idea that gold is for parties or night. But I want too much something gold. And I def will try.

It must be interesting with your boyfriend, you must have acquired quite a lot of knowledge by now! Somehow I have never been entirely familiar with gold accessoires or clothes, I think it’s difficult to tone them down or style them so that you don’t look like a bling-bling-styla-chica.
I definitely like that first Ralph Lauren gown though.

And yes, you are exactly right! Becky Bloomwood in the book was supposed to be dressing smart, not funny! But just yesterday I was talking with a friend about how some trailers completely twist films around, so maybe they’ve only picked unfortunate parts of the film where Becky’s wearing wacky clothes for the trailer ^^

Definitely loving gold more and more. I like it best when used to accent an outfit. The only thing is.. if you wear too much gold in one outfit it looks a little overdone. I try to limit myself to one gold piece.. for example if i’m wearing gold shoes, I try not to pair it with a gold bag too. A little goes a long way!

Yeah, metles are great for spring and summer, but at the same time they were used soo much in the summer of ’08, sooo two seasons ago, and like i don’t even know why you would consider it in ’09, unless it were to be in Go-Go boots, in which is fine by me, but if you are going to wear metals, do it right, remember, gold leegings are in, bronze is the new gold, and silver’s the new blue. however an even bigger event in fashion that i cannot beleve that no one has spotted yet, is indigo with silver, I meen, duh!!! Ex: Marbeled silver/chrome dress, with indigo chiffon see’through dress over the marbled dress, and, mabye a stretch belt over, and I’m thinking silver mini- pumps, or if you do not know what exactly I meen by mini- pumps, think of betty boop’s shoes…
