Fall Hat Trends

One way of adding an instant style factor to any of your outfits is to wear a hat. Of course it has to be something flattering and fabulous. I personally love hats, because they are both functional and fashionable – will warm up your head on a cold autumn day, as well as enhance your look.

If you don’t buy anything this fall, make sure to at least get a funky hat. Hats never really go out of style, so look at it as an investment piece. Hats were all over Fall 09 runways, so they are very hot this fall. Especially such hats as we were able to enjoy on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuittion, , unusual and quirky. Just remember that they will be the focal point of your outfit, so try to make the rest of your outfit simple and elegant. It is the only sensibile choice for quirky hats.

I love hats and have a wide variety for fall and winter that I have picked up over the years in Paris. Like you mention they give such a great spark, a little something different and definitely some attitude!

I love hates, when I was little you would never see me with out one on top of my little blonde head, but I haven’t worn very many in the past few years because I find it hard to look modern in the type of quirky hats I love (such as that anna sui hat). I will definitely try it out though may be not too quirky to start with.
