Clogs- Yay or Nay?
The popularity of clogs have been on the rise ever since Karl Lagerfield showed them in his Spring 2010 Chanel show, but regardless of the statement they made on the runway, I’m not yet convinced to grace my feet in them. Maybe due to the fact that I don’t find clogs particularly attractive or flattering on most body types, as they are chunky and overpowering. I have to admit though that they are pretty comfortable and if worn right, they won’t look that bad. In fact, they will look pretty cute and give a few extra inches of height. So if I do decide to get a pair then it will be a tan or nude color, as it is visually more flattering.
It seems that there is quite a debate over clogs on the internet. Some loathe it and some love it, but quite honestly I think the choice is completely personal. You have to know your body type and your style. If it works for you-wear it, if it doesn’t – lose it.
What do you guys think? Are you going to be rocking this look anytime soon?

Nay. Nay.Nay. I never liked clogs when I was a teen, and can’t seem to like them now.
YAY YAY YAY!!! I just got my Jeffrey Campbell clogs, which really look like those of chanel, and OMG, I love them! I can’t stop wearing them, they are also very comfy! check out my last post to see for yourself!!
It works for girls with sky high legs the taller the better …
Yeah-umm.. definitely a Nay for me… Just like you, I don’t find them attractive or flattering at all… I think it might work, on a tall, skinny model-type body… but certainly not for everyone…
it’s a nay for me. I’ll always be curvy and clogs just are hard to pull off. they remind me too much of little dutch girls
Yay! I think for those who have long legs. =D

I’m not a fan of clogs, but they look amazing on Alexa, and I will try them just to see how it looks on me!

Live Love LA
I used to be a vehement protester of skinny jeanas and now I live in them, so I’ve learned to never say never when it comes to fashion. That being said, I think I’m going to sit this trend out.
Clogs….probably nay, they look too much “farm girl” to me…plus I wouldn’t buy the 5inch ones, but the 2.5 inch ones and I’d end up looking like a total farm girl
Some skinny types with 87899km legs may pull them off though…

I have the exact pair of clogs that you have featured and they are quite comfy, not for super long walks, but for a normal day’s activities, not too bad. At first, I thought no clogs, as I had overdosed on them the last time this trend was hot but in the end I just couldn’t pass up the Sam Edelman’s when I saw then in the store. Here are mine:

I’m not a fan personally. However, seeing other fashionista’s wear them has been cool. I don’t know if I could ever get away with them but at least of these girls are and they look cute in them!
