Chuck Taylor All Star Converse shoes

One of the hottest casual shoe trends for the last few years has been Converse shoes- especially Chuck Taylors. I think we can officially say it’s beyond being a trend at this point, but it’s rather a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. Way more stylish than runners and just as comfortable- converse shoes are a perfect choice for those days you feel like dressing down, but want to still look put together and smart. These shoes come in a variety of different styles, colors and materials. This way there is a perfect Converse shoe for everyone.

I absolutely love my classic pair of low top Chuck Taylors in navy. They look great with jeans and a blazer, shorts and a basic t-shirt, cute ruffle dress or chinos and a sexy tank.

What are you thoughts on Converse? Do you own a pair yet?

I like the look of Chucks on other people but it does turn me off to see how many people own them. It’s like they’re the only acceptably stylish street sneaker out there or something. When I do wear sneakers, I favour my slip-on Kitson “twin” sneakers. They’re a bit like canvas slip-on Vans except that the left shoe doesn’t match the right shoe exactly.

I totally agree.. it has turned from a trend to a stable piece for sure! I love the look… BUT, still don’t own a pair… It is however on my “must-have” list to get

I own a pair of the pink low-tops ~ and I LOVE them. I wear them often when I am rushed, and easy way to spruce up jeans, tees & a fun scarf. and they are so comfortable… we cant always wear heels!
