Spring Inspirations from La Mimi

Spring Inspirations from La Mimi

I can already feel spring in the air, although it’s still quite freezing in Toronto, (-15 C) to be exact.  One significant change is that we get to see the sun come out more often these days and that definitely sets everyone in a Springy kind of mood.

I had a photo shoot today for one of my upcoming articles. I styled and modeled for it (can’t give out any more details, sorry). The photos are not ready yet, but I couldn’t help but share the preview with you, my lovely readers.

What are your main spring inspirations this year?  Anything special you are planning on wearing once the weather gets nice and warm?

Wow gorgeous girl and beautiful styling, so simple yet chic! The red lippy is perfect on you :( So envious about this, tried a rouge on at a store this morning and lets just say it wan’t what i’d expected lol

As for Spring? I have no idea haha. Whatever tickles my fancy, i try to stay clear of any seasonal trends and stick with my own ‘style’

    Much love chicka xoxo

Gorgeous photos! Personally, I am looking forward to wearing summer one piece jumpsuits and playsuits, gladiator sandals, and just good old fashioned SHORTS! Warm weather can’t come fast enough.

    Hello love!
-15°C, that is indeed freezing! Here it was +10°C today. So definitely, Spring is in the air. But at least you have the sun. Here it is raining all the time. I’d much rather have your weather.
Wow, it must be awesome, modeling in a photoshoot that you have styled yourself. And you do look truly stunning. I think you look most gorgeous in the picture before last! I love it! Red lipstick really suits you. And the infall of light from the windows is really beautiful, gives the pictures an “open” feel…
I don’t know yet what I will be obsessing over in spring… But I’m looking forward to wearing white jeans without getting them all dirty from the rain, and I love the “marine” look at the moment, you know, with navy and white striped tops and so on… Well, I’m looking forward to spring!
Thank you so much for both your nice comments. I always appreciate them, they’re always really uplifting. I’ve been soo super busy these days, I hope you understand!
    A kiss!

-15?! Yikes! Here on the West coast that’s exceptionally cold…I don’t know if I could handle your Toronto weather!

What a fantastic photoshoot! I love the little touches of colour you added like the belted green cardigan, red lipstick, and red heels. So nicely styled, photographed, and put together.

This spring I’m on the hunt for a Panama hat to wear with my girliest sun dresses, a fedora, and if I find a pair of cuff links I like, I’d like to get a women’s French cuff shirt.

    Hi La Mimi,

You expressed an interest in the Mrs. Herskin belt. The belt is the product of a new trademark. Two ladies have creation. Yes, of course Hungarian designers. Trademark name: Mrs. Herskin. Internationally can’t be got, yet. New, but they are promising. :)
