Fortunately for you ladies, talented and wonderful New York based handbag designer Jenny Yuen has offered to give away a gorgeous Sherlock Chestnut bag (Retail- $ 550) to one lucky reader of La Mimi. It’s super luxurious yet functional- absolutely ideal for the Summer. The bag is made of lush Italian leather. Rugged yet sophisticated with a vintage vibe to it.
The perfect combination of chic and sophistication, Jenny Yuen handbags have quickly gained an international clientele. The handbag designer’s creations have been featured in numerous publications such as Nylon, Marie Claire, Seventeen, and TeenVogue, and are available in boutiques throughout the United States and Japan. As a newly graduated (read: broke but dreaming) university student, I am about to take off for my first stint of traveling. I NEED this bag as I navigate the world for my very first time!
I picture it over my shoulder with a perfectly worn-out straw fedora, a linen shirt and a pair of dirty Converse in Bangkok. But at the same time, my mind wanders to Hanoi, and pairing sans the long strap with a smart blazer over a simple jersey dress on a patio at night.
This bag would be my first real designer piece and be a magical part of my first travels as a woman. I can see it now.
