It surprises me when guys declare that it’s hard to shop for women.  With so many options and possibilities in stores, boutiques, malls and online, holiday shopping for ladies has been made as easy as possible. But they are still at a complete loss, absolutely confused and puzzled at what they should get us, like we haven’t been dropping hints and little clues for the last couple of months. Take my boyfriend for example, he goes shopping with me quite a lot, so he has a good idea of what my style is like and what stores I love to shop at, nevertheless whenever he has to buy me a present he wants me to tell him what to buy for myself. Like “how romantic is that?” – I always refuse to tell him, saying that: “He should know better!”  So, this post is for all those boyfriends, husbands, brothers and fathers in need of gift ideas for their loved ones. I hope you find these tips helpful and feel free to leave comments or opinions.  We, women love to get presents, but what we really enjoy is the attention, so don’t worry about the value of the gift, make it special and we’ll love you so much more for that.

Gift ideas for those on a tight budget:

1.    Pashmina  shawl for chilly nights. Every woman needs at least one or a few to match her outfits.
2.    Warm leather gloves. Surprise her by showing your knowledge of fashion. Long leather gloves are very in this year. They are also warm and cozy. 3.    Modern design wall clock.

4.    Sex and the City- The Movie DVD if she doesn’t have one yet.

5.    Cosmetic case. Help her keep her make up in one spot.

6.    Cozy Throw Blanket. It will come in handy, by keeping her warm when you are not around.

7.    Don’t get upset if your budget doesn’t allow you to spend much. You can show your love by cooking her a special dinner. Women adore men who know how to cook and if she really loves you she will understand and appreciate that gift.

8.    Make her a booklet of handmade coupons, something like a wish book. You can grant her wishes like a full body massage, day of hugs and kisses, special dinner, recreating your first date and etc. Have fun with it and be creative. I gave something similar to my boyfriend last year and he loved it more than a mont blanc wallet I gave him. So… LOL

For those lucky ones with no budget:

1.    Designer handbag. Believe me, a woman can never have enough bags. If you are not sure what designer to go for, pay attention to what she currently wears or talks about.  Some good suggestions would be Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Chanel, Balenciaga, Prada and etc.

2.    Diamonds. Now, diamonds might not be our best friends but we are still going to love having them. It shows that our relationship is strong and stable. Avoid giving her a diamond ring unless you are going to propose. Opt for a diamond bracelet, earrings or a necklace.

3.    Sexy lingerie. It’s a present for you and her, so find out her size and go nuts!

4.    Designer sunglasses. Get her oversized shades for bright winter mornings. Women wear sunglasses as accessories, so she’s sure to love it.

5.    If she loves taking pictures ( and most females do) get her a slim good quality camera.

6.    Getaway. Pick her favourite destination and book a romantic trip for the two of you. One of the best presents I’ve gotten was for my birthday this summer, when my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to San Francisco and Las Vegas. We had a blast and came back with lot of memories and unforgettable experiences.
