5 Winter Wardrobe Essentials

Are you sick of your winter wardrobe already? Do you need some inspiration to jazz it up a bit?  Then take a look at these hottest, newest, latest winter must haves for your wardrobe.

1. The Long scarf- Get one that is extra long so you can wrap it around your neck several times for extra warmth and comfort. I got one at H&M for only $15 dollars (well it was on sale from $ 25) but it looks exactly like this one.

2. Beret- a refined and elegant statement accessory that will keep you warm in style. I love wearing hats, but in cold weather it’s really not an option, rather a necessity. So I have bought a few cute berets in different colors to keep me stylish and comfy.

3. Fur vest- There is no better winter investment than a faux fur vest. It will spice up any winter ensemble when layered over or under blazers, jackets and cardigans.

4. Skinny acid wash jeans- This time around acid wash jeans are way more appealing than in the 80’s. They will give you and edgy rock star look and give your other denim a brake. Buy them now and you are sure to wear them all through the spring and the summer.

5. Snakeskin inspired cuffs and bangles. Snakeskin trend is going to be one of the hottest things this spring. So be on the lookout for some python inspired accessories such as these exotic cuffs.

    Hey Mimi!
I agree, a long scarf and a (fake) fur vest are two basics for winter!! I love a long scarf, you can wrap yourself in it and be completely protected, and a fake fur vest is just so cool to go with a boho look. Boho looks are one of my favourite looks for winter. I also love the “ballerina” look though. Ankle boots or hippie-esque boots are, in my opinion, also a good investment for winter. AND a 60s style coat!

Thank you so much for your birthday wishes!
    A kiss!

Great picks, Mimi! I completely agree with you on the long scarf and the various hats. As much as I like to see others wear the faux fur vest and the acid jeans, I really can’t quite imagine myself wearing either! But again, I’d have to try it on not by itself but in conjuction with the rest of the outfit to make a judgment call on that one. Love the bangles! Great tip to look out for the snakeskin accessories! Thanks! =)

I want a beret!!! I’ve been looking for a beret for more than a month, but all the on-line shops I found that ship international the posts were more expensive than the beret :(
And here I can’t find one.

I also liked another faux fur vest in brown.

So my lovely Mimi, is everything ok with you?
Yes, I think that I’m needing a day off, but now is a bad time for work.

    All the best sweetie
    xoxo

    Mimi,

I love all your choices, oh stylish one!

I am a bit uneasy about the acid wash jeans..I dont think I could go down that road. It reminds me of growing up in Brooklyn!

    Ha! Peace and LOVE!
