La Mimi Roman Holiday

Where do you even begin to describe something so magnificent, mystical, magical and unexplainable? That’s exactly how you feel when you visit Italy.  Rome takes you to a whole different dimension, you feel like you go back in time, while wandering through the ancient narrow streets of Roma. Whether it was visiting churches that have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years or simply people watching while sipping on a hot cappuccino in one of the beautiful Piazzaz, I felt like I was learning something new about life every day I was there. It’s definitely an experience of a lifetime that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

The seconds stop in Italy was Positano- for the breathtaking scenery and relaxation by Mediterranean sea.

Most Italians are VERY fashion oriented, especially men . The hottest trends that I’ve noticed were Converse shoes ( worn by pretty much everyone) and red pants. HUGE!  Roman’s fashion choices are bold ,unique and in most cases quite risky. However, Rome would not compare to Milano which is the ” fashion capital” thus very much fashion forward in comparison to Rome.

I didn’t get around to doing much shopping , however I couldn’t resist getting some accessories – shoes, necklace, earrings.

I consider myself a very fortunate person to have been able to see so many beautiful places and meet some wonderful new people along the way. Oh, I’m already planning my next trip- NYC, London or Paris? Hmmmm…

Are you planning any trips for this summer?

Gorgeous pictures! I might be going to LA for a weekend this summer if one of my friends moves there for a job, but nothing’s set in stone yet. Seriously considering visiting Rome for a week in September to coincide with my birthday, though. Do you have any travel tips? Where did you stay? :)
