Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection

Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection

Gucci has launched a new “Tattoo Heart Collection” whose 25% are promised to benefit UNICEF programs for orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. It’s their 4th Annual campaign to benefit UNICEF.  Rihanna, being the spokesperson/model for Gucci was also chosen to be featured for the collection which contains various handbags, shoes, cosmetic bags, scarf and a necklace.

It’s a beautiful collection, although I have to admit it is quite pricey.  On the other hand, it feels a lot nicer making a purchase, knowing that it’s for a good cause, so check out the pictures, and if you can afford an item or two, head to Gucci.com. The entire collection is available there until January 31, 2009. There are many benefits of buying from a limited time collection such as owning a rare item that will definitely not be replicated and will most likely grow in price if you take good care of it.

Here is the complete Gucci White Tattoo Heart collection:

I had no idea that Gucci did something like this! That is so awesome!! I think they and other brands should do it more often!! There is plenty of people out there who can certainly afford these prices. And knowing that a portion of it will be making a diffirence is an amazing feeling! It’s certainly different from their regular style, but it’s kinda cute…More for summer though I’d say =) Thanks for sharing…

If I could just have one item from that collection, it would be the bag for $ 4590. It’s delicious!
    Yummy post Mimi! Thanks :)

I know so many bloggers who could easily buy that stuff (except me).

Yes, I know Yamamoto dose some fabulous monochrome colour stuff. I love that collection. I actually love most of stuff I see (trouble). I tend to only cover some stuff that people don’t blog about much.. Good fun digging out Asian designers since I understand Korean in my case.

I do appreciate your smart and intelligent comments. It was a bit of surprise to me as your blog initially came across as rather commercial but I found out later on that it isn’t.. interesting.. :)

Hi Songy!- First of all thank you, I really enjoy your blog, so leaving intelligent comments comes naturally when I’m reading your bright and clever posts. My blog is a mix of everything…I was a bit confused when I started it , as to what I wanted to express, due to way too many ideas in my head. So , it’s like a mixing pot of beauty advise, style tips, latest fashion news and etc.

Hi Sharon Rose!- Thanks for the comment darling. I am also very much tempted, but I’m going to pass. I have to stick to my strict budget! LOL

Hi Marian!- Thanks for stopping by dear! That tassel bag is just lovely! )
