Anna Wintour Interview

Anna Wintour Interview

Do you remember the movie “Devil Wears Prada?” That’s right; Anna Wintour is the inspiration behind the main character of that movie- Miranda Presley. There is hardly any fashionista that doesn’t know who Anna Wintour is.

In case you don’t, Anny Wintour is the chief editor of Vogue – US, a position she has held since 1988.  Like it or not she is said to be the most powerful and famous woman in fashion. I respect and admire her work, however she does come off rather cold and a bit intimidating.  I guess it’s the image she has chosen to portray in order to keep up with the competitive industry.

Well…I won’t give out any more information. Watch the interview and decide for yourself. It is about 13 minutes long but worth the time as it gives you the inside on her true character. After this interview, browsing through Vogue will never be the same.

Loved this interview! I think she comes off likable, although it’s probably a different story when actually working with her. But I agree with her quote above and respect her success. I had missed this when it aired, so thanks for sharing, Mimi!

I think most are inspired by Anna, she has such drive. The hardest thing then getting to the top of the fashion industry is staying there as a million and one want that one top position.

I don’t see what all the unnecessary negativity is about, that surrounds her. Anyone who knows the way in which the media works can instantly recognize that the venom is mostly a work off the media itself. She has given this one interview in goodness knows how long, that in itself is just evidence to state that people are in no position to remark on her character.
