Alexander McQueen Tribute

Alexander McQueen Tribute

I was completely shocked yesterday when I heard that Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London flat. His death has robbed the fashion world of one of the most distinctive, talented, creative and innovative fashion designers, as well as an inspiration for the next generation of designers.

No one knows why such a successful and gifted person would want to leave this world so soon- after all he was only 40 years old. However, there are rumors that his suicide was due to the recent death of his mother who passed away on Feb 2nd.

Well…It’s undoubtedly that Mr. McQueen will be terribly missed and always remember for his runway shows that were performance pieces – striking, dramatic and somewhat bizarre, yet always different and edgy, pushing the boundaries of creativity.

The fashion world has suffered a huge loss. I felt shocked.

I wish he would’ve held on a bit longer to realize that the huge pain of losing his mother will eventually be vanishing as I hope mine will.

    Lots of love darling.
