What’s in your makeup bag?

What’s in your makeup bag?

Let’s face it, most of us women wear at least some sort of makeup, whether it’s a bit of blush, foundation, lipstick or our favorite beauty product – mascara. And you know what? There nothing is wrong with it. We live in a very image oriented society, so no wonder some of us are a bit obsessed with looking good all the time.
I have a confession to make- I am a makeup junkie. I have 4 different make up bags full of lip glosses, eye shadows, eyeliners and that sort of stuff. Whenever in Sephora , I can hardly resist buying or trying something new. However, there are only a few products that I go back to, because of their quality and stunning results.
How about you guys… Spill your secrets please! What favorites do you absolutely have to have in your make up bag? I mean the certain cosmetic products that you just can’t live without and that you carry with you or wish you could carry with you all the time.

  • La Roche Posay foundation in Sand Beige
  • Lancome Definicils mascara in Black
  • Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights bronzer
  • L’Oreal eyeliner in  Black Mica
  • Guerlain Kiss Kiss – Maxi Shine  lipstick in 641 ( mango shine)
  • Cover FX blush

:-) love posts like this… i’m not the biggest make up junkie in the world, but love reveals of other people’s makeup bag lol. Me? Boring as. Same stuff day in day out: maybelline dream matte mousse foundation in the lightest of the light shade, max factor masterpiece max mascara, nars orgasm blush and albatross highlighter, burts bees lip balm… Boring but nice :-D Can’t use liquid eyeliner to save my life lol.

Ok…Lets see. I use bareMinerals foundation, it is light, blends into your natural skin tone and is healthy. I love it! I’ve been using it for over 2 years now, and it’s perfect for me. Although I gotta admit, it doesn’t cover pimples and that sort of thing, but it does perfectly even out my skin tone and adds a nice sun kissed glow. I use Napoleon & Lisa Watier eye shadows & blush. However they’re pretty old, and I actually have to go make-up shopping very soon. I use a Revlon pencil eyeliner. Prefer that to a liquid one, as it looks more natural. What else? I think that’s about it. My secret is to moisturize with Cetaphil face cream right before applying any make-up, as it sets in better and feels a lot better on the skin. =)

Okay I WANT to be more of a makeup junkie than I am, but my one MUST have that I make sure never to run out of is my black sparkly eye shadow. It is SO versatile and can easily be the only makeup I wear some days.

Fun post Mimi! I did a similar one highlighting Sephora earlier this week!
My makeup routine changes by mood, season and occassion but being fair skined and light eyed, I can’t go anywhere without bareEssentials foundation, bare Essentials warmth, a bit of brow powder, masacara and lip gloss. I just bought a new gloss at Sephora on Monday that I love plus they gave me a free gift of 3 minis. So cute, so practical and I love them!
    Have a great weekend love!

I don’t wear a lot of make up but I do have a few staples..

    -nars Orgasm blush
-Nars The Multiple – in various shades but especially bronze shades for that sun kissed glow
    -Kiehls lip balm
    -Chanel waterproof mascara
-pink lip gloss – either by bobby brown, MAC or Dior
