Honey Face Mask

Honey Face Mask

Sadly almost every beauty section of every beauty magazine or website these days only contains information on various skin or hair products that cost loads of money. These products could possibly aggravate allergies and clog pores. I usually just skip those sections, as I have a hard time trusting new products and believing that they will actually work on me. I also get the vibe that it is more like an advertisement section and not so much a beauty section anymore.

[SinglePic not found]I prefer using natural inexpensive sources to create beauty products that in fact work better than those over the counter. When it comes to home remedies, I only use simple recipes, because to be honest, who has the time to go and buy 15 products to make a face or hair mask? So…I promise to only post those that have personally worked for me and are easy to make.

Today, I would like to talk to you about honey. Yes, I know honey is a sweet treat; however, it is also beneficial for treating various conditions.  Honey is an excellent moisturizer as it has the ability to attract water and make that dry skin silky. Here are the directions for your honey face mask:
1.    Begin by rinsing your face with worm water to open up the pores.
2.    Apply honey on your face and neck if you wish and leave it for half an hour.
3.    When the time is up, rinse the honey off with warm water and finish off by rinsing your face with cold water to close to pores.

Now, how easy was that?

Thanks! My dad is a bee keeper and we’re always learning new uses for honey. It’s pretty much the best thing ever. I’m really lucky to have an abundant supply (thanks to my dad), so will definitely be trying this trick soon!
