Help Your Skin Look Young and Healthy

I have been getting a lot of e-mails from my readers asking me to post more recipes for beauty masks. I’m surprised and flattered at their popularity.  Thank you all for reading, commenting and e-mailing. Please keep them coming, as I enjoy reading them and answering all of  your wonderful questions.
So, here is another treat for those of you that prefer home remedies and natural treatments. You will definitely love this one!

Most people I know either complain about wrinkles or acne.  I guess you can say that those are the main skin issues that majority of us get to experience at one point or another. Well, here is a super easy mask that targets both of those issues.  It is based only on two ingredients, Sea Salt and Liquid Vitamin E.

Have you ever been to the beach and noticed how your acne has cleared up immediately after going in the salt water? It happened to me when I was vacationing in Dominican Republic last spring. I read up on it as soon as I came back and apparently sea salt is a natural cure for oily and acne prone skin. Vitamin E on the other hand helps your skin look healthy and slows down the aging process when taken internally or applied externally in a liquid form.

After using this mask, your skin should feel softer and smoother.

Here is the recipe:

  1. Mix sea salt and liquid vitamin E in a small container.
  2. Wash your face with warm water to open up the pores.
  3. Apply sparingly to your cheeks, forehead, chin and nose. Be careful to avoid eyes.
  4. Use a circular motion to gently massage the mixture on all areas of the face using clean fingertips.
  5. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Rinse completely with warm water and washcloth. Finish off by washing your face with cold water to tighten the pores.
  7. Pat dry and follow up with a moisturizer.

Note: Vitamin E can be purchase at any health store and Sea salt can be purchased at most grocery stores.
