Fall 2009 Beauty Trends

It feels a lot like fall in Toronto. It gets really cold in the evenings, rains every two minutes, and the sun is worshiped whenever it comes out. If those aren’t the signs of fall, then what is?

Generally, I don’t practice most of the trendy beauty looks as they are mainly over the top and some are not even flattering, but I think it is always good to know them. They give me ideas and inspirations for my daily looks.

Here is What I’ve Found Will be the Most Popular Beauty Trends for Fall 2009:

Strong Lips

You get to choose the color- whether red, plum, dark purple or even black. Lips were making a statement all over the runways. The key is to keep the rest of your look pretty simple and let the lips do all the job.

Smoky eyes never really go out of style. However, there are different techniques of creating this look. This Fall try adding a splash of color to your smoky combination, like the models in Marc Jacobs’s fall 2009 collection.

The hair this fall is getting bigger and frizzier. Literally. Now this might not be the most flattering look on most of us, but I think I’m inspired enough to at least crimple my hair this fall…I don’t think I’ve done that since elementary school.

I love the smoky eyes photos for Marc Jacobs and Versace…. sooo hottt!!! On the w-end I have tried the bold lips look and I am a little on the fence about it, just cuz I am not used to that look… but I’ll give it a try again to see if this is smth that I can get used to lol

I don’t know about strong lip on me…. Never worked, maybe I’m just choosing the wrong colours, but I feel like I look like a witch dressed for Halloween when I wear darker lip…lol As for the smokey eye, LOVE IT! It’s one of my favourite looks… and the hair, oh my… I don’t think I’d be trying that out either =) I’ll stick to curls, wavy & straight… the basics that you can’t go wrong with =)

Ayyy,, I luv all the looks, bt never worked perfect on me.. Dark lips only for change and different occasions, the hair I would luv to try it if I knew how to prperly do it lol.. Smokey eyes always good for evenings specially for my small button eyes to show a lil and look bigger hehe!! For this fall and maybe winter, I would luv to try pink cheeks instead of bronzage.. In my opinion bronze is used enuf..
