How to Choose the Best Hairbrush!
I was talking to a friend of mine today, as she was brushing her wet hair and complaining about her hairbrush that she had for years. She knew that the brush wasn’t the best for her hair but kept using it anyways. I was shocked and immediately offered to find her the perfect brush for her hair and also dedicate a post to that. I’m pretty sure many women will also find this article helpful. Let’s face it, how many of us know much about hairbrushes? I didn’t either, so I had a little one on one with my hairstylist, as she shared some hair secrets with me. Read on…
Tips
- [SinglePic not found] Do not ever brush your hair when it’s wet. It will cause your hair to break and nobody wants that. Just use a wooden comb, to separate the tangles that were created while washing your hair.
- Brush your hair each night before you go to sleep to eliminate broken and dead hair. Gentle pulling of your hair that’s created by brushing is needed to stimulate the blood circulation of your scalp bringing in more blood to feed your hair. Do it only for a minute or so, as over brushing can cause damage.
- If you hair is naturally curly or wavy and is prone to getting frizzy then brush it only before styling. Regardless of the brush you use, you will create more frizz and puff.
Best Brush for Daily Brushing
The must have brush for all hair types is an oval shaped paddle brush with natural boar bristles. It’s promised to protect the hair from damage and stimulate the scalp leaving the hair shiny and static-free. You can get one at any hair salon.
